MEET ME AT THE LIBRARY Blind Campus sponsors classes in braille, sign-language, Zoomtext adaptive software and computers st the White Mountain Library.

In the months ahead we are working on the following projects. If you would like to volunteer to help with these projects in any way please contact us.

Blind Resource Center
OPEN HOUSE
& POTLUCK

In April Blind Campus will host an "Open House" at their new resource center and office located in Rock Springs. The local Rock Springs Lion's Club helped to get the office ready and the Sweetwater Ham Radio Club installed the ham radio and antenna. The resource center will display information about community partners and provide resources for education, activities and support. Please contact Blind Campus for further details.

Audio Books are available at the White Mountain Library.

Support Group for Blind and Visually Impaired Individuals in Sweetwater County meets on a regular basis. e-mail: blindcampus@hotmail.com for more information.

“Sign-Language” Group

The group is held at the White Mountain Library, 2935 Sweetwater Drive, Rock Springs in the small meeting room. Admission is free.
We will enjoy talks from the local sign-language teacher and hostesses. “Meet new friends for the New Year.”Guest Speakers:
Stephanie and Robin
Come practice and learn sign-language with old and new friends in a casual atmosphere.
All ages welcome & open to the public with no charge.

HAM training to help in an emergency CERTS

Blind Campus is proud to be a member of the Sweetwater Ham Radio Club and will assist individuals to get their ham radio license. We monitor locally and will assist when we can.

Steve, Vice-President of the Sweetwater Ham Radio Club and Robin work together to support the CERTS emergency team.
